- Job Title: Chemical Plant Production Operator / Process Operator

- Job Purpose: To operate, monitor, and control chemical plant machinery and reactions safely and efficiently while meeting production schedules and adhering to strict environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor plant systems, including reactors, pumps, valves, distillation columns, boilers, and heat exchangers.
- Process Monitoring: Track critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and levels via control panels or gauge readings.
- Batch Handling: Measure, weigh, mix, and load raw chemical ingredients, catalysts, and reagents according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Control: Collect and test product samples (checking pH, specific gravity, or viscosity) to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Detect equipment leaks, strange noises, or mechanical malfunctions early and report or fix minor issues.
- Documentation: Log production data,
batch weights, shift notes, and equipment readings accurately into databases or physical logs.
- Safety & Compliance: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and report any safety violations or accidents immediately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma, vocational/technical training, or an ITI/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a relevant trade.
- Experience: 1 to 4+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or process plant setting.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of chemical reactions, batch processing, basic math for measurements, and elementary computer literacy for data logging.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift heavy materials, climb stairs/ladders, and wear protective safety gear.
- Work Ethic: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and readiness to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
