Role Description The Production Manager role at Applied Felts India Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad.

The Production

Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations, including planning production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role coordinates with procurement, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials, optimal equipment uptime, and on-schedule delivery of finished products.

The Production

Manager monitors performance metrics, implements process improvements,



and leads the production team through clear direction, coaching, and performance management. The role also involves troubleshooting operational issues, managing documentation and reporting, and supporting audits and customer visits as needed.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in production planning, shop-floor management, and coordination of daily manufacturing activities.
- Experience with quality control, process improvement, and adherence to safety and regulatory compliance standards.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, including workforce supervision, training, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in using production-related software or ERP systems, and in maintaining accurate operational documentation and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and process deviations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams such as procurement, maintenance, and logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial production, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications in operations or manufacturing management are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in industrial textiles, composites, or infrastructure-related products.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
