– Production Executive (FMCG)

Position: Production Executive

Job Summary The Production Executive will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities, managing manpower, ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and handling basic operational troubleshooting of production and packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Operations

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities as per the production plan.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain proper production records, batch records, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.

2. Manpower Handling

- Allocate manpower efficiently across different production and packaging activities.
- Supervise workers and ensure proper utilization of available manpower.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and work performance of production staff.
- Provide necessary instructions and on-the-job guidance to workers.
- Ensure workers follow safety, hygiene, GMP, and company procedures.

3. Machine Operation & Basic Troubleshooting

- Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment as required.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and operational checks of machines, including:




- Vibro/Vitro Sifter
- Heater
- Band Sealer
- Induction Sealer
- Identify common machine-related issues and take basic corrective actions within the scope of operational responsibilities.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for technical issues that require specialized intervention.
- Ensure machines are properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for production.

4. Quality & Hygiene

- Ensure production is carried out in accordance with prescribed quality standards and SOPs.
- Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness of the production area and equipment.
- Monitor critical process parameters and report any deviations to the concerned department.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

5. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and factory rules.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or production hazards.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by production personnel.
- Follow applicable GMP, food safety, and hygiene requirements.

6. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare and maintain daily production reports.
- Record production quantities, manpower deployment, machine-related issues, wastage, and downtime.
- Report production deviations, breakdowns, quality issues, and other operational concerns to the Production Manager.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory-related records as required.
