Production Lead / Manager – Mechanical

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Location: Bangalore

Job Purpose

Lead production and manufacturing activities for precision mechanical components, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, timely delivery, and smooth coordination with design and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers involved in design and manufacturing.

Plan and schedule production and raw material requirements.

Prepare and review 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings.

Manage inventory and prepare BOMs and material requirements.

Develop and coordinate with fabrication and machining vendors.

Handle processes such as welding, sheet metal work, CNC turning, milling, and precision assembly.

Follow up with vendors for fabrication, inspection, and quality requirements.

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize manufacturing workflows.

Estimate production costs, manage budgets, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate production personnel.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing requirements.

What You Bring

B.Tech/B.E.



in Mechanical Engineering.

7–10 years of experience in production, manufacturing, and mechanical design.

Experience in light and precision manufacturing.

Proficiency in CAD software such as Inventor, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks.

Knowledge of ERP/manufacturing software.

Solid understanding of engineering drawings, BOM, production planning, and material management.

Experience with aluminium, stainless steel, plastics, fabrication, machining, and precision assembly.

Exposure to hydraulic systems, structural and flow simulation is an added advantage.

Knowledge of ISO 13485, CE certification, and Quality Management Systems is preferred.

Medical engineering/medical device industry experience will be an added advantage.
