Job Summary ownpath is looking for a Product Manager to work closely with our clients, designers, engineers, and internal teams to take projects from scoping through delivery and into longer-term product strategy. This is a hands-on role. Youll be expected to understand the problem, figure out what needs to be built, scope the work, align the team, manage execution, and ensure were building the right thing - not just delivering whats on a brief.

Youll work across design and development projects, making sure teams have clarity on priorities, timelines, dependencies, and quality while also helping shape what comes next.

Requirements

- 2-3+ years of experience in product management, ideally at a solid startup or MNC
- Experience working on and launching digital products or significant product initiatives
- Strong understanding of product development across design and engineering
- Ability to scope projects across headcount, timelines, dependencies, and buffers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working closely with designers, engineers, and client stakeholders
- Good understanding of technology infrastructure and deployment workflows
- Working knowledge of Jira, SQL, Google Workspace, and Miro
- Tool-agnostic, quick to adapt to new systems, and highly proficient in leveraging AI workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Design experience is good to have Product Scoping & Planning

- Scope design-only, development-only and design-to-development projects from requirements through delivery
- Work with clients and internal teams to understand the problem, define requirements, and establish priorities

- Break down complex projects into phases, milestones, and actionable workstreams
- Estimate team requirements, timelines, dependencies, and buffers
- Identify risks and constraints early and build them into the project plan





- Work closely with design and engineering leads to ensure projects are realistically scoped Product Delivery & Quality

- Drive product execution from kickoff through launch
- Work closely with designers and engineers to maintain clarity on requirements, priorities, and decisions
- Track progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers across projects

- Make trade-offs around scope, timelines, and priorities when required
- Ensure deliverables meet the expected product and quality bar
- Coordinate testing, reviews, and QA before releases

- Keep clients and internal stakeholders aligned throughout the product lifecycle Product Strategy & Roadmapping

- Work with clients and stakeholders to understand broader business and product goals
- Translate these goals into product priorities and actionable roadmaps
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify opportunities and define what should be built next
- Facilitate product discussions around priorities, trade-offs, and sequencing
- Help shape longer-term product roadmaps beyond the immediate project scope
