? Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Industry Consultant – Banking & Financial Markets with solid expertise in Payments Domain Product Management.

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem and proven experience in defining and executing product vision, strategy, roadmap, requirements, and backlog for payment solutions.

? Mandatory Skills

✅ 9+ years of overall experience

✅ Strong experience in Payments Domain Product Management

✅ Proven experience in defining and executing Product Vision, Strategy & Roadmap

✅ Strong understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem

✅ Experience working with business stakeholders, customers, engineering and cross-functional teams

✅ Strong experience in Agile product development methodologies

? Payments Domain Expertise

Candidates must have strong knowledge of one or more of the following, with a solid understanding of the overall payments ecosystem:

- UPI
- Cards – Credit/Debit
- Digital Wallets
- Merchant Acquiring
- Cross-Border Payments
- Payment processing and transaction flows

? End-to-End Payment Lifecycle

Strong understanding of the complete payment lifecycle, including:

Authorization → Clearing → Settlement → Reconciliation → Chargebacks

Candidates should be able to understand payment flows, dependencies, stakeholders, transaction processing and operational aspects across the lifecycle.

? Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the product vision,



strategy and roadmap for payment solutions
- Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and customers
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and features
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs and technical feasibility
- Own and maintain the product backlog
- Work closely with engineering and technology teams for product delivery
- Collaborate with business, operations, technology and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive product development using Agile methodologies
- Identify opportunities to improve payment products, customer experience and operational efficiency
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, customers and engineering teams

? Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Payments Product Management professional, not a generic Product Manager.

Candidates should demonstrate

✔ Strong payments domain knowledge

✔ Hands-on product management experience

✔ Understanding of payment transaction flows

✔ Experience managing product roadmaps and backlogs

✔ Strong stakeholder management skills

✔ Ability to work with technology/engineering teams

✔ Strong understanding of Agile delivery

✔ Banking & Financial Services domain exposure
