About Us We are a small, fast-moving team, building a product that helps companies hire tech talent. We are early, which means the person who joins now helps shape the product, the codebase, and how we build. If you want your work to actually ship and be used, not sit in a backlog, this is that kind of place.
The role We are looking for a product engineer who can take a feature from idea to a live product on their own, and do it fast. You will be the go-to person for building and running our core product. You will work directly with the founder on what to build, then own how it gets built and how it runs after launch. This is a builder role, not a ticket-closing role.
What You'll Do
- Own features end to end: design, build, ship to production, and maintain them.
- Ship fast. Get working versions live quickly, then improve them with real feedback.
- Build the product in Next.js, React, and TypeScript with Tailwind and a modern component setup.
- Turn rough ideas and Figma designs into clean, fast, responsive interfaces.
- Make practical architecture and data-model decisions, and integrate APIs, auth, and databases.
- Care about the details users feel: performance, loading states, edge cases, and polish.
- Set up the small things that keep a young codebase healthy: sensible structure, reviews, basic CI, and good habits.
What We're Looking For
- You have built and shipped live applications, quick. We want to see working products with a live URL or a preview, not just descriptions or private code.
- You take full ownership. You are comfortable being the person accountable for the product end to end, from deciding how to build it to keeping it running after launch.
- 2 to 5 years building web products with React and Next.js in production, not just tutorials or clones.
- Strong React fundamentals: state, hooks, component design, and data fetching.
- Solid CSS and layout skills. You can build a design faithfully and make it responsive.
- Enough range across the stack to be self-sufficient: APIs, a database, and deployment (Vercel or similar).
- You work independently, move fast, and can be trusted to run with a problem.
Nice to have
- Experience as an early or founding engineer on a product.
- TypeScript depth, testing habits, and an eye for performance.
- Familiarity with tools like Supabase, Prisma, Postgres, or similar.
Who You Are You genuinely care about building good products. You take pride in what you ship, you sweat the details, and you would rather own something real than be one small part of a large machine. You are curious, you move fast, and you finish what you start.
Why join
- Real ownership of the core product from day one.
- Direct work with the founder and a short path from idea to launch.
