Responsibilities
- Develop recent products based on market trends, buyer briefs, and consumer needs.
- Research materials, finishes, colors, and manufacturing techniques.
- Create sketches, CAD drawings, 3D models, and renderings.
- Develop prototypes and improve designs based on functionality, cost, and feedback.
- Coordinate with sampling, production, merchandising, and quality teams.
- Refresh existing products and ensure designs meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience in Product/Industrial/Hard Goods Design.
- Strong design sense for furniture and home décor.
- Proficiency in CAD (Corel, Photoshop, autocad, illustrator)
- Good understanding of materials, construction, ergonomics, and manufacturing.
- Strong trend research, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop products from concept to production.
