Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Supplier Management

- Vendor Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and register trusted domestic and international manufacturers of specialized marine components and defense-grade assemblies.
- Relationship Management: Manage long-term relationships with key defense contractors, shipyards, and engineering suppliers.
- Negotiation: Negotiate competitive pricing, commercial terms, down payments, and performance bank guarantees.

Defense & Government Compliance

- Tendering Operations: Seamlessly handle government portals, including floating and processing defense bids through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM)



portal and central public procurement portals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement pathways comply strictly with the Ministry of Defence regulations, Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) codes, and maritime classification societies (e.g., IRS, ABS, DNV-GL).

Order Processing & Logistics Execution

- Lifecycle Management: Raise Request for Quotations (RFQs), perform 3-way quote comparisons, release Purchase Orders (POs), and monitor delivery tracking.
- Specialized Logistics: Coordinate complex global and domestic transport, handling custom clearance rules specifically involving dual-use or restricted defense/marine technologies.
- Documentation Control: Secure precise manufacturing records, Material Test Certificates (MTCs), inspection release notes, and warranty logs.
