JUMCO is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage product sourcing and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of direct sourcing, APMCs, wholesale markets, and product origins, with the ability to identify quality products at highly competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Source products directly from farmers, manufacturers, suppliers, APMCs, wholesale markets, and product-origin locations.
- Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to secure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality standards, and supply conditions with vendors.
- Travel to APMCs, farms, production centers, wholesale markets, and other sourcing locations as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sourcing partners.
- Monitor market prices, availability, seasonal trends, and supply conditions.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining required quality standards.
- Develop alternative suppliers and sourcing channels to improve margins and supply reliability.





Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in procurement/sourcing at companies such as Udaan, Ninjacart, Jumbotail, WayCool Foods, or similar B2B, agri-tech, food distribution, FMCG, wholesale, or sourcing companies will be highly preferred.

Requirements

- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Good understanding of wholesale markets and product pricing.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to sourcing locations and product origins.
- Strong market knowledge and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Positive communication and analytical skills.
