Procurement Executive

Location: Kolkata (Head Office)

Experience: 2–4 years in procurement department

Education: Any Graduate, MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain is an additional advantage

Budget: 4 Lakh/A

Role Overview To manage the end-to-end procurement process from receiving purchase requirements to vendor identification, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchase order processing, order follow-up, dispatch coordination, delivery, and documentation. The role will be responsible for ensuring the right quality, quantity and price are achieved while ensuring timely availability of materials/products.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement from purchase requirement to final delivery.
- Source and evaluate vendors; obtain and compare quotations.
- Negotiate price, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals.




- Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Resolve issues related to shortages, damages, quality and delayed deliveries.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documents and procurement MIS.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop reliable alternate vendors.

- Skills & Competencies
- Solid vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Strong follow-up, coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage the complete procurement cycle.
- Medical Device / Healthcare industry experience will be preferred.
