1. Identify, approach, and onboard recent clients within the assigned territory to expand the company's scrap collection and recycled materials network.
2. Conduct regular field visits to prospective and existing vendor/client sites to assess material availability, quality, and volume potential.
3. Build and maintain strong working relationships with industrial scrap generators and channel partners to ensure consistent business pipeline.
4. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with clients in line with company margin and pricing guidelines.
5. Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth material pickup, quality checks, and timely closure of deals.
6. Maintain and update a structured database of prospects, leads, and deal status through the CRM/tracking systems in use.
7. Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets as defined by the reporting manager.
8. Resolve client and vendor queries, pricing disputes, or service issues promptly to maintain long-term partnerships.
9. Prepare periodic reports on market intelligence, competitor activity,



and territory performance for management review.
10. Represent the company professionally at vendor/client meetings, industry events, and site visits, upholding company standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications Strong skills in Procurement and Purchasing, with experience managing end-to-end sourcing and purchasing processes.

Proficiency in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation, including vendor selection, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.

Demonstrated expertise in Contract Negotiation, with the ability to secure competitive terms and manage contractual obligations.

Experience leading procurement teams, setting strategy, and implementing standardised procurement policies and procedures.

Knowledge of environmental, industrial, or infrastructure sectors and familiarity with related materials and service requirements.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
