Role Description We are looking for a Product Analyst to help turn product data into better decisions across Anelyz’s research technology products.
This is a full-time remote role for someone who enjoys understanding how users interact with products, identifying patterns in data, uncovering friction, and translating analysis into practical product improvements.
You will work closely with product, design, engineering, research, and business teams to define product metrics, analyze user journeys, evaluate feature performance, build dashboards, and identify opportunities to improve product adoption, usability, engagement, and overall performance.
This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and user behavior .
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product usage and behavioral data to understand how users interact with features and workflows.
- Define and track product KPIs, adoption metrics, engagement indicators, conversion funnels, and performance measures.
- Analyze user journeys, funnels,
drop-offs, cohorts, and feature adoption to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring product performance reports.
- Partner with product managers and designers to evaluate current features and product changes.
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations for product and business stakeholders.
- Identify unusual patterns, friction points, and opportunities within product workflows.
- Support experimentation, A/B testing, and measurement of product changes where appropriate.
- Help define event tracking and analytics requirements for new product features.
- Work with engineering teams to improve the quality and reliability of product analytics data.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support product strategy and prioritization.
- Communicate findings through concise reports, visualizations, and data storytelling.
Must Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product analytics, data analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently query and analyze datasets.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Understanding of product metrics such as adoption, engagement,
retention, conversion, funnels, and user behavior.
- Experience translating analytical findings into clear recommendations rather than only producing reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SaaS or technology products.
- Experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, PostHog, or similar.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of Python or R for analysis is an advantage.
- Experience with event tracking and product analytics instrumentation.
- Experience with research, survey, analytics, or data-intensive products.
- Familiarity with cohort analysis and retention analysis.
- Experience working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Understanding of market research or research technology is an advantage.
