Procurement Engineer – Civil Engineering

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering

Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Experience: Civil Construction / Interior / Fit-out Projects

Job Location: Trivandrum, Kerala

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage material procurement as per BOQ, drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate rates, and finalize suppliers.
- Verify quantities, specifications, approved makes, quality, and budget before procurement.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor orders from placement to site delivery.
- Coordinate with Project, Site, QS, Design, Planning, Stores, and Accounts teams.
- Track material requirements, orders, deliveries, shortages, and critical materials using Material Trackers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Manage site stores, including material receipt, inspection, quantity verification, storage, issue, and stock control.




- Maintain procurement, supplier, PO, delivery, invoice, and stock records.
- Handle supplier follow-ups, material replacements, quality issues, and delivery discrepancies.
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
- Support cost optimization and value engineering while maintaining required quality and specifications.
- Coordinate with Accounts for invoices, payments, and supplier documentation.
- Prepare regular procurement and material status reports.
- Ensure procurement and stores activities comply with project requirements, company procedures, budgets, and schedules.
- Support procurement for multiple projects and prioritize critical requirements based on project schedules.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
