Responsibilities
- Be the point of contact for privacy @TCIN.
- Identify key privacy requirements for TCIN.
- Provide guidance to TCIN internal partners in assessing and implementing privacy measures for TCIN products and services offered to clients, Toyota partners and customers.
- Setup and drive governance, communications for all privacy matters within TCIN.
- Assess legal, regulatory, standards and policy compliance requirements for privacy @TCIN and drive their fulfillment.
- Design and drive implementation of all Privacy policies, standards, processes and practices within TCIN.
- Assess and identify privacy risks within organizational systems and TCIN products and services. Drive privacy risk management within TCIN.
- Create and implement approach to prepare Privacy Impact Assessments for current data sharing arrangements with TCIN partners and customers.
- Define and report privacy risk posture and privacy controls effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
- Drive automation and optimization of privacy controls and processes to provide better metrics and enhance operational support.
- Design and maintain the audit framework for data sharing including auditable data trails, access logs, and accountability chains for cross-agency data exchange.
- Lead and support Privacy audits. Investigate and resolve external privacy questions and inquiries.
- Participate in and support personal data breach management as and where needed.
- Ensure all personal data exchange platforms and data sharing policies incorporate purpose limitation, data minimisation and personal data retention controls aligned with DPDPA 2023.
- Ensure monitoring of compliance with prohibitions on profiling,
discriminatory use and resale of personal data within the enterprise as mandated by DPDP fairness principles. You are a successful candidate if you:
- 10+ years of experience in Privacy domain including at least two years in a cloud native environment.
- Conversant with personal data protection laws and regulations; can interpret laws and regulations and business requirements to arrive at Privacy requirements.
- Experience in writing privacy policies, standards and guidelines.
- Experience in design and implementation of privacy risk assessment for the enterprise and privacy impact assessments for data sharing scenarios.
- Experience operationalizing effective monitoring, auditing and reporting processes for privacy compliance.
- Familiarity with privacy-preserving technologies, such as federated learning, homomorphic encryption and synthetic data generation
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
