Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership

Lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of the I-CBSE curriculum.

Integrate inquiry-based and learner-centric approaches within the CBSE framework.

Drive academic excellence and ensure effective preparation for Board examinations for Grades 10 and 12.

Implement NEP 2020 and competency-based learning practices.

Monitor academic performance and implement improvement strategies.

Leadership & Team Management

Recruit, mentor, guide, and develop teaching staff.

Build a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.





Conduct teacher evaluations and support continuous professional development.

Provide academic direction and leadership to the I-CBSE team.

Collaboration & Innovation

Work closely with IB leadership and other academic teams to promote cross-programme collaboration.

Identify opportunities for integrating innovative teaching and learning practices.

Lead cross-programme academic initiatives and school-wide projects.

Student Development

Ensure student well-being, discipline, and holistic development.

Monitor student academic progress and identify areas requiring intervention.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment.

Parent Engagement

Build strong and professional relationships with parents.

Lead Parent-Teacher Meetings, orientations, workshops, and feedback forums.

Address parent concerns effectively and maintain transparent communication.

Administration & Compliance

Ensure compliance with CBSE guidelines, policies, and academic requirements.

Oversee academic planning, reporting, assessment, and related systems.

Ensure effective utilization of LMS and other educational technology platforms.

Coordinate with the school management on academic and operational matters.

Qualifications & Experience Essential

M.Ed. or relevant Master s degree along with B.Ed.





10-12 years of experience in CBSE schools.

3-5 years of leadership experience as Principal, Headmaster, Vice Principal, Academic Head, or in a similar senior academic leadership position.

Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, assessment practices, and NEP 2020.

Demonstrated experience in academic leadership and team management.

Preferred

Exposure to IB, Cambridge, or IGCSE curricula.

Experience working in schools offering dual or multiple curricula.

Familiarity with LMS, educational technology, and digital academic platforms.

Experience in implementing innovative and competency-based learning practices.
