Pricing Executive

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)

Job Summary The Pricing Executive is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for freight forwarding and logistics services. The role involves coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CFS operators, and other service providers to obtain rates and ensure timely submission of quotations to customers and the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit freight quotations for import and export shipments.
- Obtain and negotiate rates from shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CHA partners, and other vendors.
- Coordinate with the sales team for customer pricing requirements and tenders.
- Maintain and update freight tariffs, rate sheets, and pricing databases.
- Analyze costs and margins to ensure profitable pricing.
- Follow up with vendors and service providers for updated rates and special offers.
- Support key account and business development teams with customized pricing solutions.
- Monitor market trends, freight rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing.
- Ensure quotations are issued accurately and within the required turnaround time.




- Maintain records of quotations, contracts, and customer-specific rate agreements.
- Assist management in preparing pricing reports and performance analysis.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or pricing.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and freight terminology.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and ERP/Logistics software.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple quotations simultaneously.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Customs Clearance, and Transportation services.
- Strong analytical and costing skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in quotation preparation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal departments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
