We are seeking an agile and technically sound Infrastructure Pre-Sales Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our System Integration (SI) division. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy for large-scale Indian Government, PSU, and Smart City tenders/RFPs. As an SI architect, you will not be tied to a single product line; instead, you will evaluate and stitch together multi-vendor solutions spanning Backup, Servers, Storage, and Cloud to deliver cost-effective, high-performing, and fully compliant bids.

Key Responsibilities

- Multi-Vendor Solution Architecture: Design interoperable, end-to-end IT infrastructure blueprints (HLD/LLD) using a diverse mix of tier-1 and tier-2 OEM technologies to meet customer specifications.
- OEM Ecosystem Management: Coordinate with strategic OEM partner networks (e.g., Cisco, HPE, Dell, NetApp, Fortinet, AWS, Azure) to register deals, negotiate special pricing, and secure mandatory Manufacturer's Authorization Forms (MAF).
- RFP Compliance Matrix: Create exhaustive, line-by-line technical compliance sheets for Indian public sector tenders, identifying any restrictive clauses or hidden risks.
- Cost Optimization & Margin Protection: Build complex commercial models and multi-vendor cross-mappings to create the most aggressive L1 (Lowest Bidder) or highest-scoring QCBS (Quality & Cost Based Selection) bidding strategy.
- Pre-Bid Advocacy: Formulate technical queries to counter biased or restrictive specifications during the pre-bid stage and present arguments clearly to government technical committees.




- SI Proof of Concept (PoC): Set up and demonstrate complex, multi-brand integrations in PoC environments to validate technology interoperability for clients.

Technical Qualifications & Core Domain Skills

- Compute & Hyperconverged Platforms: Architecture design experience with multi-vendor x86 servers (Rack/Blade) and virtualization/HCI stacks (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
- Enterprise Storage & Data Protection: Design proficiency in SAN, NAS, and unified storage matrices, along with automated multi-tier backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- MeitY- Empaneled Cloud Services: Structural understanding of hybrid cloud integrations, public hyper scalers, and local sovereign cloud offerings approved for Indian public sector deployments.
- Public Procurement Governance: Clear understanding of Indian financial rules (GFR 144(xi)), "Make in India" (MII) local content criteria, and land-border registration mandates.

Preferred Certifications (Valuable to Have)

- Cross-vendor technical certifications: VMware VCP, or technical design tracks from major hardware OEMs (Dell, HPE, or Lenovo Data Center portfolios).

Soft Skills & Behavioral Attributes

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills to balance competing OEM timelines and pricing strategies.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain absolute accuracy while handling high-volume documentation under tight submission clocks.
