Power BI Technical Lead

- Experience : 6 to 10 Years (with a proven track record in enterprise BI delivery)
- Location : Hyderabad (Full-Time)
- Core Focus : Leading a development team, enforcing report design standards, and hands-on delivery of complex enterprise data models.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership : Lead a team of 3-9 Power BI developers, assign tasks, perform regular code reviews, and establish development best practices.
- Complex Development : Take ownership of complex data modeling tasks, write advanced DAX formulas, and design highly interactive executive dashboards.
- Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in slow reports using DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, and VertiPaq engine diagnostics.
- Governance DevOps : Oversee workspace security (RLS/OLS), manage data gateway configurations,



and drive automated deployments using ALM Toolkit and Git.
- Stakeholder Bridge : Translate complex business requirements into transparent technical specs for the development team and manage delivery timelines.

Technical Skillset

- BI Core : Power BI Desktop/Service, Power BI Premium Capacity, Dataflows, Gateways.
- Languages : Advanced DAX , M code (Power Query), and Expert SQL/T-SQL .
- Tools DevOps : Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit, Azure DevOps, and Git integration.
- Data Ecosystem : SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, Azure Data Factory, and basic exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
