Starting from a small air separation plant, the organization has grown into a multi-branch manufacturing, filling, and distribution network across the state. AOPL operates manufacturing plants in Ahmedabad, Halol, and Surat, along with a distribution depot in Rajkot, and is also active in bulk trading of liquefied gases.

The company provides cryogenic supply systems and related engineering, construction, installation, training, and maintenance services, with strong emphasis on safety and adherence to industrial standards. In addition, AOPL is involved in chemical trading, including sulfur dioxide, dyes chemicals, wastewater treatment chemicals, maintenance and cleaning solutions, and welding electrodes, serving large corporations and multi-specialty hospitals with a “leading to serve” philosophy.

Role Description The Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing day-to-day Bottling plant operations and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production of industrial and medical gases. The role includes leading and coordinating manufacturing activities, optimizing production schedules, managing resources, and monitoring equipment performance to meet quality and output targets.

The Plant

Manager will implement and enforce safety protocols, maintain regulatory and environmental compliance,



and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime. Daily responsibilities also involve supervising and developing plant staff, managing inventory and materials, reviewing operational data and reports, and working closely with senior management to support continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Plant Management and Bottling Plant Operations, with the ability to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Demonstrated experience in Operations Management and Production Planning to optimize capacity, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Hands-on background in Manufacturing Operations, preferably in industrial gases, chemicals, or a related process industry.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality management systems relevant to industrial and medical gases.
- Proven leadership skills, including team supervision, performance management, and workforce training.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using data and operational metrics to drive improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or a related technical field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience managing plant operations in a multi-site or high-volume manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
