Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Placement Officer to manage and strengthen placement opportunities for students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building relationships with employers, coordinating recruitment activities, and supporting students throughout the placement process.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies and recruitment partners.
- Identify and create new placement opportunities for students across relevant industries.
- Coordinate with companies for job openings, interviews, recruitment drives, and placement activities.
- Understand employer requirements and match suitable candidates with available opportunities.
- Assist students with job applications, interview preparation, and career guidance.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, interviews, career fairs, and placement-related events.
- Maintain and regularly update student placement records and databases.
- Track student applications, interview results, selections, and joining status.
- Coordinate with trainers and academic teams to ensure students are placement-ready.
- Follow up with employers and students throughout the recruitment process.




- Prepare regular placement reports and performance updates for management.
- Collect and maintain feedback from employers and placed students.
- Support initiatives that improve placement rates and career outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in placements, recruitment, HR, business development, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Robust negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to understand job requirements and identify suitable candidates.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/recruitment tools.
- Target-oriented and proactive approach to work.
- Experience in the education or recruitment sector will be an added advantage.
