Role Description The Placement Officer role is a full time, on-site position based at GGI in Khanna.

The Placement

Officer will be responsible for bringing in corporates ,coordinate campus placement activities, build and maintain relationships with recruiters, and organize placement drives, interviews, and industry interaction sessions. This role includes guiding learners in career planning, preparing them for interviews and group discussions, and offering individualized career counseling.

Officer will also collaborate with academic and training teams to design employability enhancement programs, workshops, and soft skills sessions. Regular reporting on placement metrics, maintaining placement records, and continuously improving placement processes are key parts of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Skills in campus placement coordination and recruiter relationship management.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation, interpersonal, and networking abilities.
- Experience in career counseling, student guidance, and mentoring.
- Background in training and skill development, including soft skills and interview preparation.
- Knowledge of education sector practices and understanding of academic-to-industry transition.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administration, and corporate partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data reporting; experience with placement or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a placement cell, corporate HR, or talent acquisition is preferred.
