Role Description This full-time, on-site Physics Teacher role is based at Narayana Group of Schools in Darjeeling Pulbazar.

The Physics

Teacher will design and deliver engaging physics lessons, create lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum, and integrate appropriate mathematical concepts to support understanding. Daily responsibilities include classroom instruction, preparing teaching materials, conducting assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing individualized academic support as needed. The teacher will maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, participate in faculty meetings,



coordinate with colleagues on academic activities, and contribute to exam preparation and co-curricular initiatives related to physics education.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including developing structured teaching materials and assessments.
- Solid foundation in Mathematics to support physics problem-solving and numerical reasoning in class.
- Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, differentiated instruction, and student engagement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience teaching physics at school or pre-university level is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, guardians, and staff.
- Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, non-discriminatory learning environment and supporting diverse learners.
