About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications. The ideal candidate has robust hands-on expertise in Core PHP, Object-Oriented Programming, and MVC frameworks, along with a solid understanding of databases, REST APIs, and modern front-end technologies. You will work on both new development and enhancement of existing/legacy applications, taking end-to-end ownership of assigned modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Core PHP, OOP principles, and MVC architecture.
- Build and maintain applications using CodeIgniter and/or Laravel frameworks.
- Write efficient, optimized SQL queries, joins, and indexing strategies for MySQL/MariaDB databases.
- Develop and consume REST APIs, and integrate third-party services using JSON and AJAX.
- Implement and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and XML.
- Understand, debug, and enhance existing/legacy PHP applications.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively within development teams.
- Support basic deployment and production troubleshooting on Linux-based environments.




- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules/features, working independently when required.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP, OOP, MVC, XML, and CodeIgniter and/or Laravel.
- Strong experience with MySQL/MariaDB, SQL queries, joins, indexing, and database optimization.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, JSON, AJAX, and third-party integrations.
- Good knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Good understanding of Git, Linux, and basic deployment/production troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand and enhance existing/legacy PHP applications. • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules/features.

Good to Have

- Experience with ITSM, enterprise, or healthcare applications will be an added advantage.
- Experience with WhatsApp/SMS/Email integrations.
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, or cloud environments.
- Exposure to AI/API integrations is an advantage.
