Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate dispensing of medicines, maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and supporting secure and efficient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.

- Verify prescriptions for correct medicine, dosage, quantity, and instructions.

- Maintain proper stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of medicines.

- Monitor expiry dates, near-expiry medicines, and proper storage conditions.

- Maintain accurate records of medicines received, dispensed, returned, and damaged.

- Ensure proper handling and documentation of high-alert and controlled medicines.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments regarding medication-related requirements.

- Provide appropriate information to patients regarding medication usage when required.

- Follow hospital pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Maintain cleanliness, organization,



and hygiene standards in the pharmacy.

- Participate in stock verification, audits, and inventory reconciliation.

- Report medication-related issues, shortages, damages, and discrepancies to the Pharmacy In-charge.

- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.

- Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

- Freshers with valid registration may also apply.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of medicines and dispensing practices.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic computer knowledge and pharmacy software handling.

- Good inventory and documentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle shifts when required.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,550.27 per month
