Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. The therapist will assess children’s developmental, sensory, motor, and functional skills and create individualized intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include providing one-on-one and small group therapy, focusing on sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, play skills, and school readiness.

The role involves close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, communicating progress with caregivers, and maintaining accurate documentation and treatment records. The therapist will also participate in early intervention programs,



contribute to goal setting, and support family education to promote carryover of skills at home and in school settings.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with experience applying OT principles in clinical or educational settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in Pediatrics and Early Intervention, including assessment and treatment of developmental delays and neurodivergent conditions.
- Practical experience in Sensory Integration approaches to support regulation, attention, and participation in daily activities.
- Comfort and proficiency in Working With Children, including building rapport, engaging families, and managing behavior in therapeutic contexts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; relevant licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and work respectfully with diverse families.
- Ability to create clear treatment plans, maintain detailed documentation, and use evidence-based practices in pediatric therapy.
- Prior experience in special needs or neurodevelopmental settings (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties) is highly beneficial.
