About Us Cornerstone After School Activity Centre is an emerging neighborhood learning hub located in the 5th Sector of K.K. Nagar, Chennai. We focus on a balanced educational model—strengthening core academic foundations (such as reading, writing, grammar, and basic mathematics) while also guiding students through school curricula up to the 10th standard (CBSE & Matriculation).

Role Overview We are looking for dedicated, passionate, and adaptable part time teachers who can manage small batches and guide students effectively. Whether your strength lies in building rock-solid primary foundations or handling higher-grade subject concepts up to the 10th standard, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct evening tuition classes from Monday to Friday, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Coach students from 1st to 10th standard across CBSE and Matriculation curricula.
- Focus heavily on conceptual clarity, foundational skills (grammar, reading fluency, and mathematical problem-solving), and homework assistance.
- Monitor individual student progress, manage small batch sizes effectively, and maintain a disciplined,



positive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, or equivalent). Fresh graduates, postgraduates, and experienced home tutors are welcome to apply.
- Subject Competency: Strong command over school-level subjects (Maths, Science, English, or Social Science) for primary, middle, or high school levels.
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience with children, and a commitment to interactive, concept-driven teaching.
- Location: Candidates residing in or around K.K. Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Vadapalani, or nearby Chennai areas are preferred for a convenient evening commute.
