About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant with strong expertise in GST compliance, statutory returns, and international export documentation. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, manage timely tax filings, maintain strict export records, and reconcile international transaction accounts.

Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance & Filings: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) accurately, verify ITC reconciliation with GSTR-2B, and generate e-Invoices & e-Way bills.

Export Accounting & Formalities: Process zero-rated supply documentation, Letter of Undertaking (LUT) filings, Shipping Bills, Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC / e-BRC / IRM), and claim GST refunds on export sales.

Bookkeeping & Record Keeping: Maintain day-to-day accounts, maintain accounts payable/receivable, categorize purchases with correct HSN/SAC codes, and manage item-level attachments in ERP/accounting software.

Reconciliation & Reporting: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, forex gain/loss entries,



and prepare basic monthly financial summary statements.

Audit Support: Support external audits, year-end closures, and coordinate directly with our Charted Accountant (CA) for statutory audit compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in manufacturing, engineering, or international trading entities.

Core Expertise: Deep understanding of GST laws, e-invoicing workflows, Customs/Export documentation, and FEMA/RBI guidelines for foreign remittances.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in cloud or desktop accounting tools (such as Zoho Books, Tally Prime, ERPNext, or Odoo) along with advanced MS Excel skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / Inter CA qualification preferred.

Traits: Meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to tax deadlines, and clear communication skills.
