Role

We are looking for an experienced Packaging Estimator & Quotation Executive who can independently understand customer requirements, calculate accurate costing and prepare quotations for Rigid Boxes, Monocartons and Corrugated Boxes.

Key Responsibilities

Understand customer specifications, drawings and samples.

Prepare accurate product costing and quotations.

Calculate material consumption, wastage, printing, finishing, labour and other production costs.

Prepare BOM and costing in ERP.

Convert approved quotations into production/job sheets.

Coordinate with Sales, Purchase and Production for rates, feasibility and specifications.

Maintain costing and quotation records in ERP.

Ensure quotations are commercially accurate and commercially viable.

Identify missing specifications or costing risks before submitting quotations.

Must Have Packaging Knowledge

Rigid Boxes: Greyboard, wrapping paper, printing, lamination, foiling, embossing, die-cutting, pasting, assembly and accessories.





Monocartons: Paperboard/GSM, sheet planning, printing, lamination/coating, die-cutting, creasing and pasting.

Corrugated Boxes: 3/5/7-ply, kraft/liner/fluting, flute selection, sheet calculation, printing, die-cutting, stitching/pasting and wastage.

Candidate Requirements

2–5 years' experience in packaging estimation/costing

Strong practical knowledge of Rigid + Monocarton + Corrugated boxes

Experience preparing customer quotations independently

Strong knowledge of BOM, material consumption and wastage

ERP and Excel proficiency

Strong numerical and analytical skills

High attention to detail

Preferred: Candidates currently working in a packaging manufacturing company with hands-on experience in costing and quotation preparation.

This is NOT a data-entry role. The candidate must be capable of independently costing a packaging job and submitting a professional quotation.
