Patient Examination

- Welcome and assess patients professionally and courteously.

- Take detailed patient history and understand the presenting complaint.

- Perform visual acuity testing for distance and near vision.

- Conduct subjective and objective refraction.

- Determine spectacle power accurately.

- Perform binocular vision and basic colour-vision assessments.

- Conduct tonometry and other preliminary eye examinations as per hospital protocol.

- Perform appropriate diagnostic tests and document results accurately.

Clinical Support

- Identify patients requiring ophthalmologist consultation and refer appropriately.

- Assist the ophthalmologist during consultations and procedures.

- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative vision assessments.

- Explain examination findings and basic eye-care instructions to patients.

- Educate patients regarding spectacles, contact lenses, eye hygiene and preventive eye care.

- Recognize urgent/emergency eye conditions and immediately escalate to the ophthalmologist.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
