Role Description The Optometrist at TwoLens will provide comprehensive eye examinations, accurately assess visual acuity, and determine appropriate prescriptions for customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing refractions, conducting basic eye health screenings, advising customers on lens options and frame suitability, and ensuring prescriptions are suitable for rapid on-site fulfillment. The Optometrist will collaborate closely with the in-store team to maintain high standards of clinical accuracy, customer experience, and workflow efficiency.





This is a full-time, on-site role based in Yelahanka, requiring consistent in-person interaction with customers and team members.

Qualifications

- Licensed Optometrist with a recognized degree or diploma in Optometry and eligibility to practice in the region.
- Strong clinical skills in refraction, basic ocular health assessment, and prescription verification.
- Ability to explain findings and recommendations clearly to customers, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced retail or clinical environment, with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to provide empathetic, inclusive, and respectful service to diverse individuals.
- Willingness to collaborate with store staff, adapt to streamlined processes, and support rapid turn-around of eyewear.
- Prior experience in optical retail or eye care settings is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records, using digital tools, and managing prescriptions.
