About Unaware Sensing

Unaware Sensing LLP is a deep-tech company developing advanced sensing and electro-optical technologies for Space, Defence, Robotics, Automotive ADAS, and AI-driven applications, including LiDAR, hyperspectral imaging, embedded vision, and sensing platforms.

We're expanding our optics and mechanical teams to build next-generation electro-optical systems for space and defence programs.

1️⃣ Optics Design & Image Sensor Characterization Engineer (1–4+ years)

Own optical system architecture and image sensor characterization — from optical design (Zemax/CODE V), stray light and jitter/smear analysis, to sensor trade studies (framing vs. event-based) and bench-level test validation, through space qualification.

2️⃣ Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer (4+ years)





Own structural and opto-mechanical design for flight hardware — vibration/shock/thermal analysis, CAD/FEA (SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, NASTRAN), space qualification (outgassing, thermal-vacuum, GD&T;), and multi-sensor payload integration.

Both roles involve close collaboration with electronics, optics, mechanical, and program teams, and direct exposure to space-grade imaging system development end-to-end.
