Job Summary

We are looking for a highly intelligent, proactive and results-driven Operations & Strategy Manager to work closely with senior management and oversee cross-functional operations, employee performance, recruitment evaluation, interviews and process improvement.

This is not a traditional coordination or project management position.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver and decision-maker who can understand different business functions quickly, identify weaknesses, challenge existing processes, evaluate people and develop practical solutions.

The candidate may be required to interview and evaluate professionals across multiple functions including SEO, AI/Software Development, Social Media, Recruitment, eCommerce and Operations. You do not need to be a technical expert in every function, but you must be capable of understanding technical and business concepts quickly and determining whether a candidate genuinely understands their work.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Interviewing & Hiring

- Conduct or participate in interviews for technical and non-technical positions
- Interview candidates for SEO, AI, Python/software development, social media, recruitment, eCommerce and other functions
- Develop practical and situational interview questions
- Assess candidates based on actual knowledge, problem-solving ability, ideas and ownership
- Identify candidates who are exaggerating their experience or cannot demonstrate practical knowledge
- Ask strong follow-up questions instead of relying only on standard interview questionnaires
- Quickly identify weak candidates and avoid unnecessary interview time
- Provide clear interview feedback and hiring recommendations to senior management

Employee & Performance Management

- Monitor employee performance, productivity, ownership and quality of work
- Identify performance gaps and operational issues
- Work with managers and employees to improve accountability and results
- Ensure employees understand responsibilities, deliverables and expectations




- Identify employees who require additional support, training or performance management
- Escalate serious issues to senior management with practical recommendations

Operations Management

- Manage and improve day-to-day cross-functional operations
- Identify inefficient processes and create better systems
- Develop SOPs, workflows, checklists and reporting mechanisms where required
- Improve communication and accountability between departments
- Reduce unnecessary meetings, repetitive processes and wasted management time
- Ensure important tasks and initiatives are completed on time
- Take ownership of operational problems from identification through resolution

Strategy & Problem Solving

- Analyze business and operational problems independently
- Identify root causes rather than treating symptoms
- Recommend new processes, tools and technologies
- Research and implement AI tools, automation and productivity solutions where appropriate
- Challenge outdated or ineffective processes
- Develop practical solutions that improve productivity and business performance
- Present recent ideas and opportunities to senior management

Senior Management Support

- Work directly with senior management on important business and operational priorities
- Prepare concise reports and updates
- Track important initiatives and ensure follow-through
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Support management with hiring, employee and operational decisions
- Handle special projects and strategic initiatives
