Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager

Hotel Lake View is looking for a dynamic, growth-driven, and highly organized Assistant Operations Manager to lead and streamline hotel operations from the backend. Key Responsibilities

1. OTA Revenue & Channel Management

- Manage hotel listings on OTA platforms such as Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Expedia, etc.
- Optimize room rates, inventory, promotions, and availability.
- Improve online rankings, guest reviews, and online visibility.
- Monitor competitor pricing and implement revenue strategies.
- Coordinate with channel manager / PMS systems.

1. Reservation Management

- Oversee bookings from OTA, direct, corporate, and walk-in sources.
- Ensure smooth confirmations, modifications, cancellations, and guest coordination.
- Maintain occupancy reports and demand forecasts.
- Minimize booking errors and overbooking situations.

1. Hotel Operations Management

- Supervise day-to-day backend operations of the hotel.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping,



Maintenance, Accounts, and F&B; teams.
- Ensure seamless communication between office and property teams.
- Resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Maintain service quality and operational discipline.

1. Sales & Business Growth

- Generate room sales through corporate clients, travel agents, and direct business.
- Build valuable business partnerships and market presence.
- Increase occupancy, repeat business, and monthly revenue targets.
- Support promotional campaigns and expansion initiatives.

1. Product Development & Brand Improvement

- Suggest room upgrades, packages, guest offers, and service enhancements.
- Develop new revenue opportunities.
- Improve guest satisfaction and brand positioning.

1. Hiring & Team Development

- Assist in recruitment of hotel staff.
- Support interviews, onboarding, and team training.
- Train employees on SOPs and service standards.
- Build a responsible and performance-driven culture.

1. Policy Making & Implementation

- Create and implement SOPs, reporting systems, and internal policies.
- Improve accountability, efficiency, and consistency across departments.
- Monitor staff discipline and operational standards.

1. Reporting to Management

- Share daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Present updates on revenue, occupancy, operations, issues, and opportunities.
- Provide practical suggestions for growth and improvement.





Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Hotel Management / Business Administration / Relevant field).
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in hotel operations / hospitality management.
- Solid knowledge of OTA extranets, channel manager, PMS, and reservations.
- Leadership mindset with team handling capability.
- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language preferred.
- Good computer knowledge (Excel, reports, email, CRM tools).
- Problem-solving attitude with business understanding.
- Ability to handle responsibilities under pressure.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience managing 3-star / boutique hotels.
- Existing corporate sales contacts are a plus.
- Strong understanding of Hyderabad hospitality market preferred.
- Self-driven with ownership mindset.
