About the role

We are looking for a resourceful and highly organized Operations Coordinator to help build and support our growing operations in India.

This is not a conventional administrative position. The successful candidate will work across operations, market development, partner coordination and brand communication. One day may involve coordinating with a grower or supplier; another may involve researching a market opportunity, preparing a presentation or developing the story behind an innovative product.

The role is well suited to someone who can bring structure to evolving projects, communicate confidently with different stakeholders and translate scientific or technical ideas into clear, engaging commercial stories.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day projects involving vendors, growers, researchers, customers and internal teams.
- Support the execution of agricultural trials, seed-production activities and new product initiatives.
- Conduct market and competitor research across quinoa, plant-based nutrition and value-added food products.
- Help develop compelling product stories, presentations, marketing materials and digital content.
- Coordinate meetings, demonstrations, trade events and partner follow-ups.
- Maintain project timelines, action trackers, documentation and progress reports.
- Identify potential customers, institutional partners, distributors and research collaborators.
- Support product launches and market-entry activities across India.




- Communicate regularly with the Canadian leadership team and coordinate across time zones.
- Travel within India when required for field visits, industry meetings and trade events.
- Take ownership of emerging priorities in a dynamic, early-stage business environment.

What we’re looking for
- Master’s degree in agriculture, biotechnology, food science, life sciences, agribusiness, marketing or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or another Indian language is an asset.
- Strong storytelling ability, particularly the ability to make scientific or technical products understandable and commercially compelling.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Strong research, presentation and professional writing skills.
- Confidence communicating with senior leaders, vendors, researchers, farmers and prospective customers.
- Comfort working independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Willingness to accommodate occasional evening meetings with the Canadian team.
- Willingness to travel within India when required.
- Genuine interest in agricultural innovation, nutrition and sustainable food systems.
