We are looking for an experienced Local Purchase IT Procurement Officer who will be responsible for managing local procurement, IT hardware purchases, vendor coordination, and transportation arrangements. The candidate should have hands-on experience in purchasing laptops, computers, IT accessories and office equipment, along with strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

What youll do

- Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end local purchase activities for the organization.

- Procure laptops, desktops, computers, printers, monitors, networking equipment, IT accessories and other IT hardware.

- Source and evaluate local vendors based on price, quality, availability and delivery timelines.

- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing.

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain proper purchase documentation.

- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of IT and non-IT materials.

- Maintain a database of vendors, quotations, purchase orders and pricing.

- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchase requirements and ensure timely procurement.

- Handle transportation and logistics coordination for movement of materials.

- Coordinate with transporters, courier agencies and logistics vendors for pickups and deliveries.

- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials to the required location.

- Verify delivery challans,



invoices and other purchase-related documents.

- Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and service providers.

- Negotiate transportation charges and other commercial terms wherever required.

- Identify new vendors and alternative sources to improve cost efficiency.

- Monitor pending purchases, deliveries and payment-related coordination with Accounts.

- Ensure all procurement activities are carried out as per company policies and approval procedures.
