Key Responsibilities
- Assess the overall nursing needs of patients and prepare and implement appropriate nursing care plans.
- Plan, organize, supervise, and monitor nursing services across all departments and high-risk units.
- Conduct interviews, recruitment, selection, deployment, training, and appraisal of nursing staff.
- Ensure efficient and protected nursing care, including patient comfort, medication administration, treatment, and monitoring and recording of vital parameters.
- Conduct daily patient rounds and introductory visits for newly admitted patients.
- Ensure that patient and attendant complaints, queries, and concerns are addressed courteously and effectively by the Nursing Staff.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, and other support services, for comprehensive patient care.
- Liaise with the Management and Medical Director regarding patient care, nursing services, staffing requirements, and staff welfare.
- Provide regular feedback to Management on nursing operations, patient care, staffing, and service-related issues.
- Ensure proper maintenance of patient records, nursing documentation, stock registers, inventories, and other departmental records.
- Monitor nursing supplies, equipment, and resources and ensure their proper utilization and availability.
- Ensure timely communication with the Billing Department / IPD Manager regarding resources utilized for patient care.
- Provide health education and necessary information to patients and their attendants.
- Promote infection prevention, healthy practices, patient safety, and disease prevention measures.
- Ensure implementation of hospital quality policies, NABH standards, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely compliance with audit observations and corrective actions.
- Monitor adherence to nursing protocols, SOPs, infection control practices, medication safety, and patient safety standards.
- Identify training needs and arrange appropriate clinical and non-clinical training programs for nursing staff.
- Ensure effective manpower planning, duty roster preparation, leave management, and optimum utilization of nursing resources.
- Maintain discipline, professional standards, and ethical practices within the Nursing Department.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Medical Director / Hospital Management.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in Nursing, preferably in a NABH-accredited hospital
Qualification
- B.Sc. Nursing is mandatory.
- MHA / MBA (Healthcare/Hospital Management) is preferable.
- Valid registration with the relevant Nursing Council.
NOTE : No salary constraint for the right and deserving candidate.
Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
