About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust connectors with various identity verification, authentication, and IAM platforms. Your primary focus will be to own the entire integration lifecycle—from interpreting vendor API documentation to deploying secure, reliable production code that handles Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with utmost care.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex systems that directly impact the security and user experience of our clients, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8+ years of experience developing production-grade systems, particularly in Node.js and TypeScript. A strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and authentication flows is essential. Hands-on experience with identity protocols such as OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, and SCIM 2.0 is required.

Familiarity with microservices architecture, testing disciplines including unit and integration testing, and HTTP mocking tools like Nock or MSW is also necessary.



Proficiency in MongoDB is expected. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in secure handling of PII and secrets, experience with identity verification or IAM platforms like Okta, Auth0, Ping, Jumio, Onfido, and others, as well as exposure to passwordless authentication technologies like FIDO2 and WebAuthn.

Additional knowledge of decentralized identity standards, compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, and familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integrations with various identity verification and IAM platforms, ensuring secure handling of sensitive data throughout the process.

Interpret vendor API documentation and translate requirements into scalable, reliable code that seamlessly integrates with our existing systems.

Implement and maintain authentication flows, including OAuth 2.0 grant types, SAML, and other identity protocols, ensuring compliance with security standards.

Develop microservices components adhering to best practices, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.

Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of integrations, utilizing tools like Nock or MSW for HTTP mocking.

Handle PII and secrets securely, leveraging KMS or Secrets Manager, and implement log redaction to prevent sensitive data exposure.





Collaborate with product managers and security teams to ensure integrations meet compliance standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and local regulations like DPDP Act (India) and BIPA.

Contribute to observability initiatives by implementing structured logging, OpenTelemetry, and correlation IDs for efficient troubleshooting and monitoring.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Maintain knowledge of emerging identity technologies, standards, and best practices to keep our systems at the forefront of security and innovation.
