About The Role We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer specializing in Node.js and REST API development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services that support our innovative applications.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on Node.js and REST API design. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or higher is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript,



along with hands-on experience working with Express.js or similar frameworks.

Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, is essential. Strong understanding of API security protocols, including JWT and OAuth, is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are key qualities for this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js frameworks, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.
- Build secure, high-performance backend services that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Work closely with database administrators and developers to design efficient database schemas and optimize queries for performance.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar protocols to ensure data security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct API testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and robustness of backend services.
- Optimize application performance by analyzing bottlenecks and implementing improvements at the code and database levels.




- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and follow agile development methodologies.
