Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NPD Manager with 2–3 years of experience in New Product Development and Contract Manufacturing . The candidate will be responsible for managing the product development process from concept to commercialization, coordinating with internal teams and external manufacturing partners, and ensuring timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities from product concept to commercialisation.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers for product development and production requirements.
- Prepare and maintain product specifications, BOMs, samples, and other NPD-related documentation.
- Coordinate product trials, sample development, testing, and approvals.
- Work closely with R&D;, Quality, Procurement, Production, Packaging, and Marketing teams.
- Evaluate and follow up with contract manufacturers for product feasibility, costing, timelines, and production readiness.
- Monitor development timelines and ensure projects are completed within agreed schedules.
- Support product costing and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Ensure products meet defined quality,



regulatory, packaging, and customer requirements .
- Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors and manufacturing partners to resolve development-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all NPD projects.
- Support product improvements, modifications, and line extensions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a relevant field , depending on the industry.
- 2–3 years of experience in NPD/Product Development .
- Prior experience working with Contract Manufacturing / Third-Party Manufacturing is mandatory.
- Good understanding of product development processes, vendor coordination, and commercialisation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in handling contract manufacturers and external vendors .
- Solid follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience in product trials, sampling, costing, and product launches.
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
