Artemis Hospital, Gurugram is inviting applications from qualified and dedicated Anaesthesiologists to join our Neuroanaesthesia & Neuro Critical Care team.

Associate Consultant Neuroanaesthesia & Neuro Critical Care

Qualification

DM/DrNB- Neuroanesthesia and Neuro Critical Care

- MD / DNB Anaesthesiology ISNACC, SNACC Fellowship
- DA Anaesthesiology with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Additional training/fellowship in Neuroanaesthesia / Neuro Critical Care will be preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in neuroanaesthesia and critical care will be preferred.
- Valid medical registration is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anaesthesia care for neurosurgical and neuro-interventional procedures.
- Pre-operative assessment and optimization of patients undergoing neurological procedures.
- Management of complex and high-risk neurosurgical cases.
- Intra-operative monitoring and hemodynamic management.
- Provide peri-operative care for patients undergoing cranial, spine and other neurosurgical procedures.
- Manage critically ill neurological patients in the Neuro ICU / Critical Care Unit.
- Ventilator management, airway management and hemodynamic stabilization.
- Management of post-operative neurosurgical patients and neurological emergencies.
- Coordinate closely with Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.




- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient-safety standards and infection-control practices.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, academic activities and quality-improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- Robust clinical knowledge in Neuroanaesthesia and Neuro Critical Care.
- Good exposure to neurosurgical OT and critical care services.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity tertiary-care environment.
