- Manager - Network Planning The Manager - Network Planning will own city and cluster-level network planning for the Battery Swapping Station (BSS) network, translating business growth plans into analytically robust deployment and capacity decisions. The role is accountable for improving network coverage, accessibility, utilization and asset productivity while maintaining deployment feasibility and speed. This is an ownership role requiring strong analytical judgement, spatial planning capability and cross-functional execution.

The incumbent will work closely with Business Development, Site Acquisition, Deployment, Operations, Technology and other stakeholders, and will be expected to independently recommend and defend network decisions using data.

Key Responsibilities l Own city and cluster-level network expansion plans, including station density, coverage gaps, rollout sequencing and capacity requirements.

l Identify and prioritize new BSS locations using GIS, demand heat maps, vehicle and swap data, catchment analysis, competition, accessibility and business inputs.

l Build deployment recommendations with clear demand rationale, expected utilization, capacity assumptions and operating constraints.

l Review performance of the existing network and recommend station additions, relocations, rationalization, capacity enhancement or other corrective actions.

l Develop demand and utilization forecasts and translate them into short and medium-term network requirements.

l Run scenario and sensitivity analysis for new cities, new partners, vehicle segments, fleet opportunities and changes in demand patterns.

l Establish planning thresholds and early-warning indicators to identify capacity constraints, under-utilized assets and emerging network gaps.

l Drive periodic network reviews with Operations and Business teams and ensure agreed actions are tracked to closure.

l Partner with Site Acquisition and Deployment teams to maintain a viable site pipeline and highlight risks affecting rollout targets.

l Develop and improve planning models, dashboards, GIS layers and management reports that enable faster and more consistent decisions.

l Present network recommendations, trade-offs, risks and performance insights to senior stakeholders in a concise and decision-oriented manner.

l Coach junior planning team members, review analytical output and raise the quality and consistency of network planning practices.

Key Expectations

- Ownership: Ability to independently take a planning problem from data analysis to recommendation and cross-functional closure.
- Analytical rigour: Solid numerical reasoning and the ability to distinguish correlation, operational symptoms and true network constraints.
- Spatial judgement: Strong understanding of catchments, travel patterns, accessibility, density, coverage and network cannibalization.
- Business judgement: Ability to balance customer convenience, demand, asset productivity, rollout speed and operational feasibility.
- Execution discipline: Ability to manage multiple city plans and deployment dependencies without losing timeline or decision quality.
- Communication: Ability to influence stakeholders through structured analysis,

clear recommendations and concise management communication.
- Continuous improvement: Ability to standardize planning logic, automate repetitive analysis and improve decision quality over time.

Key Qualifications - Tightened Criteria

- Experience: 6-9 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in network planning, GIS-led infrastructure planning, location strategy, mobility, telecom, energy, fuel retail, logistics network design or a closely related analytical planning role.
- GIS: Demonstrated hands-on capability in QGIS, ArcGIS or an equivalent spatial analytics platform. Candidates should be able to independently perform catchment, proximity, coverage and location analysis.
- Analytics: Advanced Excel capability is required, including large-data analysis, lookup and aggregation logic, pivot-based analysis and structured modelling.
- Data tools: Working knowledge of SQL and at least one BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau is strongly preferred. Python or similar analytical scripting capability is an advantage.
- Decision experience: Evidence of having converted analysis into actual site, capacity, network or infrastructure decisions, rather than only producing reports or dashboards.

• Domain: Prior experience in a network-based business such as EV mobility, telecom, utilities, fuel retail, logistics, quick commerce or distributed infrastructure is strongly preferred.

• Education: Full-time bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Geography, Statistics, Economics, Operations or another quantitatively oriented discipline. A relevant master's degree or MBA is an advantage.

- Leadership: Prior experience leading projects, mentoring analysts or coordinating multi-functional workstreams is expected.
