MuleSoft and Salesforce Integration Developer
Location: Chennai
Employment type: Full Type
Experience: 4+ years in enterprise integration development, including 2+ years with MuleSoft and practical Salesforce integration delivery.
About Teceze
Teceze is an IT services company supporting clients across Digital Workplace Services, Cloud and Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Staff Augmentation and Global Procurement Services. This role contributes to client Salesforce consulting and delivery, working with business stakeholders and technical teams to implement, improve and support enterprise applications.
Role purpose
Teceze is seeking a MuleSoft and Salesforce Integration Developer to connect Salesforce with client ERP, finance, service and other enterprise platforms. You will develop secure, observable APIs and integration flows that keep business data reliable across systems, with particular focus on failure recovery, performance and supportability.
Key responsibilities
- Review integration requirements and source-system capabilities with analysts and architects; clarify ownership, throughput, latency and data consistency needs.
- Design and implement APIs and Mule applications using Anypoint Platform, reusable interfaces and the integration patterns approved for each client.
- Develop DataWeave transformations and source-to-target mappings, handling null values, field validation, schema changes and incompatible data formats.
- Integrate Salesforce through suitable REST, bulk and event interfaces, accounting for API limits, authentication and transaction behaviour.
- Implement idempotency, retries, dead-letter or exception handling and reconciliation to prevent lost, duplicated or silently inconsistent transactions.
- Apply OAuth, TLS, secret management and API policies in collaboration with security and platform teams; avoid exposing credentials in logs or code.
- Create unit, integration, contract and performance tests,
including realistic scenarios for downstream outages and malformed input.
- Automate deployment through version control and CI/CD; manage configuration across environments and document release and rollback procedures.
- Configure logs, metrics and alerts; investigate production incidents, provide root-cause analysis and correct recurring integration defects.
- Maintain API specifications and operating runbooks, support cutover activities and explain integration constraints to business and delivery stakeholders.
Required skills and experience
- Hands-on MuleSoft application development and deployment experience, including Anypoint Studio, Mule runtime and DataWeave.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP, authentication and API design; ability to read and maintain interface specifications.
- Practical Salesforce integration experience, including API limits, bulk processing and common authentication and data-access issues.
- Experience with automated testing, Git and deployment pipelines, including environment-specific configuration and secure secret handling.
- Ability to diagnose failures across multiple systems using logs, correlation identifiers and controlled reproduction of defects.
- Understanding of resilient integration patterns, data reconciliation and performance trade-offs under real operational constraints.
Education: Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience. Evidence of successful delivery is more important than certification alone.
Key deliverables
API specifications, integration flows, data mappings, automated tests, deployment configurations, monitoring rules and operational recovery procedures.
Measures of success
- Interfaces meet agreed availability, throughput and response-time expectations without avoidable data loss or duplication.
- Failures are detected promptly, diagnosed through helpful telemetry and recovered through documented procedures.
- Releases pass agreed quality gates, and reusable APIs and mappings reduce repeated implementation effort.
