? About the RoleBe part of the team building the next-generation Global Satellite Constellation for highly precise and secure Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT) using LEO satellites.

We are looking for a motivated Mission Planning Engineer to contribute to constellation architecture, mission planning, Inter-Satellite Link (ISL) modelling, orbital analysis, and spacecraft operational planning.

This is a high-impact opportunity to work on a 250+ satellite mesh, contributing to orbit design, constellation analysis, propulsion budgeting, mission operations, and launch planning.

? Key Responsibilities

- Model and analyse dynamic Inter-Satellite Link (ISL) topologies across intra-plane and inter-plane satellite paths.
- Perform constellation and orbital analysis using STK based on mission requirements, environmental factors, and Space Situational Awareness (SSA).
- Support SSA strategies, radiation analysis, mitigation planning, and propulsion/delta-v budgeting.
- Contribute to CONOPS and operational mode definition across space, ground, and user segments.
- Define network logic, operational states, entry/exit criteria, and transitions for LEOP, commissioning, routing, anomaly modes, and EOL.




- Support orbital event and spacecraft state planning in collaboration with the satellite platform development team.
- Translate mission requirements and launch constraints into practical mission planning architectures.
- Prepare engineering documentation, reports, flowcharts, and state-machine diagrams.

?️ Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in mission planning, satellite systems, orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or related domains.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Space, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong understanding of:
- Orbital Mechanics
- 3D Geometry
- Delta-V Budgeting
- Satellite Constellation Design
- Satellite-to-Satellite / Inter-Satellite Links
- Experience with STK is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks/CATIA, or other engineering/simulation tools.
- Understanding of network routing topologies and communication protocols will be an advantage.
- Solid analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across astrodynamics, satellite systems, embedded systems, signal processing, and mission operations teams.
