Role Description This is a full time, on-site Merchandiser role based in Jaipur. The Merchandiser will coordinate between design, production, and buyers to ensure collections are aligned with brand standards, market trends, and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing samples, overseeing product development timelines, preparing and presenting ranges, and maintaining accurate product and order documentation.

The role involves regular communication with buyers and internal teams, monitoring sales performance,



and recommending changes to assortments or pricing to optimize sell-through. The Merchandiser will also visit retail floors or client locations as needed to understand customer preferences and support visual merchandising and promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with internal teams and external buyers.
- Customer Service and Retail skills to understand shopper behavior, store requirements, and client expectations.
- Sales and Marketing skills to support assortment planning, product positioning, and promotional strategies.
- Ability to analyze sales data, trends, and inventory levels to inform merchandising decisions.
- Experience in apparel or fashion manufacturing or retail is preferred, especially in women’s wear or kidswear.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple styles, orders, and timelines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools); experience with merchandising or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion, Textiles, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
