Role Description This is a full time, on-site Medical Representative role based in CHENNAI.

The Medical Representative is responsible for promoting Icon Life Sciences’ pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff. Daily activities include scheduling and conducting client visits, delivering product presentations, explaining therapeutic benefits and usage, and answering clinical and product-related questions. The role involves building and maintaining long-term relationships, following up on orders,



monitoring competitor activity, and supporting marketing initiatives and product launches in the assigned territory.

The Medical

Representative also prepares sales reports, ensures compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and collaborates with internal teams to achieve sales and service targets.

Qualifications

- Strong Medical Sales skills, including territory management, product promotion, and consultative selling.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, handle queries, and maintain professional relationships.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine and Pharmacy to confidently discuss indications, dosage, and safety information.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree or diploma in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently in the field, plan visits effectively, and meet sales and activity targets.
- Comfort with using digital tools (CRM systems, email, presentations) for reporting and customer engagement.
- Ethical conduct, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is an advantage but not mandatory for strong candidates.
