Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Content Writer to create accurate, informative, and engaging healthcare content. The ideal candidate should have strong medical research and writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex medical information for a general audience. The role involves creating blogs, articles, website content, and other healthcare-related content while maintaining accuracy, readability, originality, and SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, write, edit, and proofread high-quality medical and healthcare content.
- Create medical blogs, articles, website pages, landing pages, and patient-education content.
- Conduct thorough research using reliable medical and scientific sources.
- Ensure all medical content is accurate, evidence-based, and up to date.
- Simplify complex medical concepts and terminology for general audiences.
- Optimize content for SEO, including keyword placement, headings, meta titles, and descriptions.
- Review and update existing medical content based on the latest information and research.
- Ensure content is original, plagiarism-free, and aligned with quality standards.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, editors, designers, and other team members.
- Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
- Manage multiple content assignments and meet deadlines consistently.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.




- 1–3 years of experience in medical content writing, healthcare content writing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare concepts.
- Excellent research, fact-checking, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Basic understanding of SEO and keyword research.
- Ability to create clear, engaging, and reader-friendly content.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to content accuracy.

Preferred Skills

- Experience creating medical blogs, articles, website content, or patient education materials.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Grammarly, plagiarism-checking tools, WordPress, or similar content platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO tools and content optimization practices.
- Ability to research information from reliable medical sources and scientific publications.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content writing tools is an added advantage.
- Experience working with a Digital Marketing Agency or Healthcare/Medical Content Agency is an added advantage.
