Job Summary:
Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others. Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another. Quality
Applies high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship. Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis. Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments. Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Follows all process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections.
Delivery
Fully proficient performing troubleshooting, mechanical repairs and maintenance of equipment . Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Perform and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals. Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements Solve problems and improve processes Participate in continuous improvement activities Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Qualifications
Qualification:- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience required in years:- 5 to 7 Years
Hand on Experience required in:- Especially in Facility & Utility equipments Maintenance including Compressors, Central coolant system, Domestic water system, PIV maintenance, HVAC Operation & maintenance, Solar plant maintenance, Roof maintenance, Air dryer maintenance, DG Maintenance, Power house operation & maintenance, ETP/STP maintenance, Pump & Motor maintenance, HVLS fan maintenance, Fire Prevention & Fire alarm system basic maintenance & operation etc.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Utility Equipment Maintenance
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of:
- Air Compressors (Screw/Reciprocating)
- Chillers and Cooling Towers
- HVAC Systems
- Industrial Pumps
- DM/RO Water Treatment Plants
- Fire Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems
- ETP/STP Systems
- DG Sets (Mechanical Systems)
- Utility Piping Networks (Air, Water, Fuel, Gas)
- Vacuum Systems
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
2. Preventive Maintenance
- Execute PM schedules as per SAP/Maximo/CMMS.
- Conduct lubrication activities as per lubrication matrix.
- Carry out condition monitoring inspections.
- Inspect leakages, vibration, temperature, pressure, and abnormal noises.
- Maintain PM records and documentation.
3. Breakdown Maintenance
- Attend utility breakdowns immediately.
- Identify root cause of failures.
- Restore equipment safely within target downtime.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support emergency maintenance activities.
4. Pump & Piping Maintenance
- Pump overhauling and alignment.
- Mechanical seal replacement.
- Bearing replacement.
- Valve maintenance and servicing.
- Pipeline leakage rectification.
- Flange, gasket, and expansion joint replacement.
5. Compressor & Pneumatic System Maintenance
- Compressor servicing and overhaul.
- Air dryer maintenance.
- Filter replacement.
- Leak detection and reduction.
- Pressure regulation system maintenance.
6. Facility Maintenance Activities
- Building maintenance support.
- Roofing and gutter inspection.
- Door and shutter maintenance.
- Civil utility coordination.
- Utility infrastructure inspection.
7. Reliability Improvement
- Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
- Perform Why-Why Analysis.
- Support TPM initiatives.
- Implement Kaizen projects.
- Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
8. Safety & Compliance
- Follow LOTO procedures.
- Work Permit compliance.
- Hot Work Permit adherence.
- Confined Space entry compliance.
- Ensure PPE utilization.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
9. Spares Management
- Identify critical spare requirements.
- Monitor spare consumption.
- Raise spare requisitions.
- Support inventory optimization.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance history records.
- Prepare breakdown reports.
- Update CMMS / Maximo work orders.
- Record utility performance data.
- Support internal and external audits.
