Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Megastar Foods Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Head to lead the complete Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance function of our flour milling operations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing both Mechanical and Electrical teams, coordinating their day-to-day activities, and ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage both Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance teams and their daily operations.

- Take overall responsibility for mechanical and electrical maintenance across the flour mill.
- Ensure maximum availability, reliability, and safe operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
- Plan and monitor preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Lead troubleshooting and timely rectification of major mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
- Coordinate closely with Production to minimize downtime and achieve production targets.
- Plan shutdown maintenance, equipment overhauls, inspections, and lubrication activities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring mechanical and electrical failures.




- Ensure availability and proper planning of critical mechanical and electrical spares.
- Allocate manpower and maintenance resources effectively across Mechanical & Electrical departments.
- Monitor equipment condition and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and service providers for technical support and maintenance requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of plant machinery and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with LOTO, GMP, food safety, electrical safety, and overall plant safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce breakdowns, downtime, and maintenance costs.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a solid maintenance leader with sound knowledge and practical experience in both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance operations. The candidate should be capable of independently managing both teams, setting maintenance priorities, handling critical breakdowns, and coordinating effectively with Production and Plant Management.

Experience in flour milling, grain processing, food processing, or similar continuous-process industries will be preferred.
