Role & responsibilities

Own end-to-end testing lifecycle for enterprise data platforms, including test planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off.

- Design, build, and execute robust validation strategies for ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Validate data accuracy, match-merge rules, data harmonization, and survivorship within Master Data Management (MDM) platforms.
- Conduct advanced SQL and script-based data validation across Snowflake environments to verify schema transformations, performance, and data integrity.
- Serve as the primary client-facing QA representative, driving triage meetings, presenting test coverage reports, and aligning on acceptance criteria.

- Must Have
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Data QA, ETL testing, or Data Warehousing validation.
- Snowflake & SQL: Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake architecture, writing advanced SQL queries, and validating high-volume, multi-source datasets.
- Pipeline Testing: Proven experience validating complex batch and near-real-time data pipelines (ETL/ELT), schema changes, and source-to-target mappings.
- MDM QA: Strong functional and data validation experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, including entity resolution, survivorship, deduplication, and data governance rules.
- Client-Facing Ownership:



Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage client expectations, lead QA discussions, and deliver end-to-end ownership without day-to-day supervision.

Positive to Have
- Python Scripting: Practical knowledge of Python for building test automation utilities, data validation scripts, or pipeline verifications.
- Cloud architecture: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- CI/CD & Automation: Experience integrating automated data tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Agile Delivery: Experience working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum delivery.
